Dr. Caren Aaron grew up in Martinsville, returning in 2006 from a thriving practice in Richmond, VA, where she had attended medical school. As a board certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Aaron applies scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to diagnose, treat and care for adults across the spectrum from preventative health to acute and chronic illness. 

Dr. Aaron graduated from Martinsville High School along with her husband Darren. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, art, jazz, college football and serves as a charter member of the Martinsville Henry County Women In Philanthropy program. She and Darren have one son named Noah.

Dr. Boyd is board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care and Interventional Pulmonology. A native of Henry County, Dr. Boyd worked as a paramedic, army medic and nurse before attending medical school. Dr. Boyd assisted in teh development of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, serving as Director of Bronchoscopy and developing the first Interventional Bronchoscopy program in the region. He returned to the area in 2015 to introduce interventional pulmonology and the EBUS procedure to MHMHC.

Dr. Boyd has two children, and enjoys fishing, kayaking, running, reading, gardening and traveling in his spare time.

In college he swam, played football, and rowed crew. Coming from a family of doctors, nurses, and medical professionals, his career has been focused on sports medicine and he has served as team doctor for numerous college and high school teams, both in Virginia and California.

As an otolaryngologist, Dr. Galos is specially trained in the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, and throat. 

Dr. Galos joined Martinsville ENT and Memorial Hospital in September of 2012. Before moving to the area, Dr. Galos founded South Hill Associated Surgical, a multi-physician otolaryngology group in the Pittsburgh, PA area. He also worked at several other practices throughout Pennsylvania and Tennessee, before moving to Virginia in 2009.

Dr. Galos was raised in Rochester, NY. He is married with three grown children. He enjoys baking, shooting sporting clays, woodworking and is crazy about his two Boston Terriers, Beans & Bohnen (pronounced Bone-In, which is translated to Beans in German).

Dr. Isernia grew up on Long Island, New York. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Buffalo Medical School and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, New York. His training in Internal Medicine was completed in 1996 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He is an assistant Clinical Advisor for UVA Medical School and is active in the training of current medical students. He has been married to his wife Michelle for 13 years and they have one beautiful daughter Lindsay.

Dr. Isernia’s interests outside of his clinic and hospital based practice include basketball, baseball and physical fitness. He enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, bands and time with his family and friends. He has been practicing in Martinsville, Virginia since 1996.
